The Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management FNS50315 is a nationally recognised qualification that meets the standards of the Diploma level of skills and knowledge application. Mortgage Broking Managers oversee mortgage broking processes, ensuring compliance with financial sector regulations and reporting requirements. They may also be involved in complex brokering, including commercial leases and equipment finance, commercial finance, project finance and finance for property developers.

The Diploma qualification reflects management roles in finance and mortgage broking where work is undertaken by self-monitored operators such as Licensees, through an aggregator, or involves managing a workplace team.

At this level individuals are expected to apply theoretical knowledge and specialised skills in a range of situations and to display initiative and judgement in planning activities.

Those who have autonomy in performing complex technical operations and may be responsible for the work of others within broad but generally well-defined parameters would find this course of benefit.

This Diploma extends the knowledge and skills assessed in the Certificate IV level of qualification and adds an additional programme of units of competency to include more complex scenarios, more complex structures or more complex applicants (for example companies/ trusts etc.) It also prepares the student for a more business oriented performance role by including three units of risk to assist in the identification, management and mitigation of business planning as well as customer guidance in relation to their risk perception.

MyFENG provides a workshop environment to address the units that have not been previously completed in earlier study and we recognise prior learning and assess prior experience where it is appropriate to do so.

In particular, licensees and potential licensees will benefit from the business structuring included in this course. Others may find it a requirement of association membership but it is an extension of the legal requirements and therefore is not mandatory for a licensing application.
